Do What You Love

 It's easy to get distracted from what I really want to be doing with my life.  Currently, it involves watching Across the Universe and posting the first of what will hopefully be many more explorations into the subject, but it's still a topic that has been on my mind a lot recently.  Whatever course I end up exploring, I figured this website would be the best way to channel my interests into a medium I can use to evaluate what the hell it is i'm doing.  It's also late and I needed to post something to replace the default Drupal page, and a freestyle ramble is the best I could come up with.  The DP for this movie is a guy named Bruno Delbonnel who also shot The Half-Blood Prince which is the only other movie he's credited for that i've seen.  It's got this neato high-contrast filthy vibrance that fits with the retro story, coupled with a lot of single-source back and side-lighting that leaves portions of the image eerie and uncertain.  Kind of like the tone of the story.  Until the end when Jude goes back to the life he fell in love with.  Find yours.
